Internet Down

Hey everybody, we have not fallen off the face of the earth, our internet has been down for almost a week and hopefully we will get our computer back soon. I have some great pics to post from the birthday party last weekend. It was wonderful. I'll write more about it when I post the pics.

Hudson has seemed to just recently become more independent and into everything. Mr. Energy! He is saying sooo much and repeating everything! I'll post more when I get a chance. Hope everyone has a wonderful weekend.

Birthday Pictures!

A year ago today we were only able to wonder what he was doing. What a fun day today was! But tomorrow should be even better when he has his Birthday Bash!
Hudson woke up this morning to his very first birthday present, a wagon and some toys to play with at the beach! He was so happy and has drug that wagon all over this house. Thanks Aunt Casey and Uncle Will!

Can you tell they're both morning people? Just about makes me sick! HA! This is why I have to get up an hour earlier than Hudson because that way I can be as chipper as he is when he wakes up (and get some studying done:)

Pilot in training!

We were able to stand very near and watch this plane take off, if was pretty cool and you can see the pics below, the boys couldn't take their eyes off of it!

This is a guys house, I've never seen anything like it!

Jim and Cindy had us over for a wonderful afternoon. They live on a BEAUTIFUL piece of land that has 2 landing strips for the planes and several houses where everyone has a plane. We visited several neighbors homes and saw their planes in addition to Jim and Cindy's. It was so cool, Jason and I enjoyed ourselves very much! Oh, and Hudson did, too :) He really likes airplanes and there were also multiple tractors and bulldoziers on the place so he was in his element. To say he had a wonderful afternoon would be an understatement!

Happy Birthday Hudson!

Just a few pictures of him coloring the other night.

My baby turns 2 today. Where has the past 8 1/2 months gone to? I'm not sure whether I want to cry or celebrate. Maybe both! I'll be sure to post tonight after I've taken a million pics of his first birthday home. Right now he's sitting in the floor with his Aunt Casey playing with his first ever birthday present. We have lots to do today to get ready for tomorrow and he has a cool suprise this afternoon, so check back later for lots of pics and an update!

Foxxy and Books!

He gave her his blanket to lay on, she was very thankful :)

If you've ever been around Fox., then you know that I can't believe she actually let him lay on her. We have had her for 4 years now, she was dropped off, in heat, of course, and would not let anyone near her. She stayed close to me at first and before long I was the only one she would let pet her, this went on for well over a year. The only time she would get near anyone else would be if Sally, our other dog, would go over to them too, and even then she was very skiddish. She's so sweet and I don' think has a mean bone in her body. She's my girl! And she's starting to feel more comfortable around Hudson. She used to run under the bed anytime he came around and only let him hear her if I was sitting right there.

Isn't he just growing up so! He loves to read his books and I love it when he plops down in my lap and insists I read his book. His favorites are anything with tractors or trucks and animal books. His 2 newest animals to learn are buffalo and kangaroo.

Wedding Pics

Cydil-this one was at my request from all of the ones I've seen you take :)
How cute is he!? And I'm not talkin' about Will!

There were around 400 people at the wedding.

Will watching Casey come down the aisle. Of course he had never seen her dress.

This pictures is priceless, I'm sure it will be found in a frame in my house! They were dancing to Tim McGraw's My Little Girl.

Sorry these pics are so small. You can go to Courtney's website at www.heltonphotovideo.com/blog and click on Mr. and Mrs. Davis and see all these pics and click on them to enlarge and see the full picture. This is only a taste of the ones to come, I cannot wait to see them all. Courtney does a wonderful job and I cannot wait for her to take our family pics and to get her back out here on the farm to take some more horseback riding pics.
Casey and Will came home from their honeymoon last night and when we got home and horses fed we spent a few hours with them. Hudson had a big time playing with his Aunt Casey. We (me, Jason, Meemaw, and Hudson) went Saturday afternoon to Nashville and watched an illustrative sermon that was very good. Hudson got to go and see Larry and Bob at Clarksville Lifeway yesterday also. He LOVED Bob the most and then the Chick-fil-a cow. He walked right of to Bob waving and saying, "Hey Bob!" He gave him a big hug and high five.
Two short stories...
The other day me and Meemaw took Hudson to the park in P.V. and there was the cutest little girl who had just turned 4 and she wanted to play with Hudson so badly. She kept telling him, "Watch this". Of course I don't think he had a clue what he was saying but he proceeded to tell us every other minute for the rest of the afternoon to "Wach dis"!
We were driving home from Meemaws the other night and he was sitting in my lap (nobody panic she only lives about 200 yards down the driveway). He pointed to the moon and told me to "Turn lights out!"

Gettin' our Hair Did :)

He loved putting the stickers on my cheeks! This is what he does to himself anytime he has sticker.

These are the only pics I took from last Saturday. He stayed in my lap most of the time she was fixing my hair.

I love Friday's because me and Hudson get to hang out all day and I don't have any lessons in the afternoon. I already have my horses in for training worked for today and we've ran errands, went to the park, and now he's sleeping and I'm not far from it. We have some fun stuff planned for tomorrow and I'm going to try and be a good mom and take my camera with me, I haven't been doing a very good job lately.
A few Random thoughts:
Hudson is making sentences now with 5 or 6 words.
He's also into tickling us. What's funny is when he raises his arm up and tickles himself.
At the mill the other day Mrs. Pam gave Hudson a Tractor House magazine that he can't get enough of. Everytime we get in the car he asks for it and then he flipps through it like he's really reading it and says whatever piece of equipment he's looking at-hilarious!
I cannot believe he'll be 2 next Friday. We are hopefully going to go next Friday and let him see some airplanes. Tractors are his absolute favorite but now he's getting into firetrucks and airplanes. A friend of mine's husband flies planes and they live at a little private airstrip. I'm sure Hudson is going to love it!
Hope you all have a great weekend!
