Christmas Eve with the Carney side...

Hudson received lots of things...like a leaf blower, weed eater, tool set, and several of the characters from Cars movie!

The Grandkids

Uncle Daniel had to get in on some Cars action :)

Sweet Cheeks received toys, a cute jacket, and some pink camo boots!

Our first stop on Christmas Eve was Granddad and Grandmom's. We had breakfast for dinner, which has become the tradition, then watched the grandkids open presents. Hollynn did lots of sleeping and Hudson did lots of playing! After having lots of fun there, we came home for a quick nap then were off to church for the Christmas Eve service. While Hudson slept, I played dress up with Hollynn, YES I DID! She had so many Christmas outfits, she wore 3 on Christmas Eve! I just couldn't decide which ones for her to wear.
I'm going to try and post the rest of the Christmas pics tomorrow. I didn't do a very good job of taking pics this year, so there's not a million Christmas posts, I sort of had my hands full!

Happy Gotcha' Day!

Here's to two years of the most precious, handsome, sweet, funny, (I could go on and on) little boy I've ever know. He's my little sunshine, knit together just for us, and couldn't be even more perfect for our family!
He wants to be just like his Daddy and they adore each other. Jason is the calm and when that's what Hudson wants, he curls up in his lap and they just hang out together. He's got the best Dad to look up to, there's nobody I'd rather him want to be like.

And he's still a mama's boy :) He still wants me to hold him and snuggle every morning and I love it when I get my random hugs and kisses. We love to dance together and get outside together when we have the chance. He keeps me on my toes and I love it!
I love this one, it just captures his personality. He's so funny and is full of himself!

Chubby cheeks adores him, too! I've said it over and over but he really is an awesome big brother, wait till I tell you about his Christmas present to her and show you the pics on my next blog post!
Love this boy and am so thankful for him!
Last year we celebrated with the family but this year we have decided to keep it with just the 4 of us (and Uncle Will/Aunt Casey may come along so me and Casey can hit up the Pottery Barn sale :). But the past few weeks there have been lots of people in and out of the house and then Christmas was of course crazy so we are just keeping today all about him yet low key. I'm actually looking forward to a week of hanging out with my kids, getting back on a routine, and spending time with just them and Jason, I love my little family! Anyways, back to gotcha' day...we are going to the movies to watch Yogi Bear then where ever he wants to eat, which will be either Mexican or Chinese if I know him! Maybe Pei Wei since we will be in Green Hills :) Did I mention we are hitting up Pottery Barn too!? That has nothing to do with him and everything to do with they are closing store and are suposed to be having some good deals on things and I have expensive taste and a not so expensive budget so I'm hoping to find some good deals! Other than all of this, he just wants to play with his toys, which are taking over the love shack, he's content sitting in the floor making car and tractor noises and destroying things, while looking up every once and a while to give me a big grin!
Also want to say Happy Birthday to Meme! We love you! Thanks for all you do!

Thanksgiving: better late than never!

This is my new favorite pic. of these two together. She adores him and he is crazy over her (I'll remind them of this in the years to come!) She ALWAYS knows where he is, if she can't see him then she looks for him when she hears him. He loves to make her smile and she willingly does for him. She has been smiling on purpose now for well over a week and I think it is the sweetest thing ever!

I thought this was funny!

Dad reading to them, can you tell we had spaghetti that night! And a John Deere hat and white underwear are the perfect combination :)

Jason wouldn't let the dogs come in at first when we brought Hollynn home but now, thankfully, they are back! Jason's not a big dog person but I caught him cracking up at these two wanting to join in on the fun.

Starting to get a little belly on her!

I love Foxxy laying in the backgroud of the pic. above, she's just thankful he's bothering Andy and not her! Have I mentioned Andy is the best dog, he lets Hudson do whatever and never complains.

On Thanksgiving we put the tree up with Aunt Casey's help. Check out the bottom part of the tree, that's where he hung all of his ornaments!
Ornaments from Moscow, these are so cool! Janice and Jon sent some last year and we had gotten some while we were there. Won't these be fun for him to have forever!

And this is what little Miss did while we decorated!

He loves to help me bake, his favorite part is "tapping" eggs, and making "bulldozier tracks" aka using the mixer! We baked lots of desserts for Thanksgiving.

Daddy's Girl

If I hadn't distracted myself by grabbing the camera, I would have stood there and cried as he was slow dancing with her singing Edwin McCain's "I'll be" to her!

These are a little out of order, but she finally had her first real bath. It took 5 weeks for her umbilical cord to fall off. She wasn't to thrilled with her bath, but I was sure happy to give her one!

And while they were slow dancing, this is how he was dancing!

And the one below was of him dancing the night before! He likes to take his nap in his underwear only and that's his usual attire when we are just hanging out at home!
Don't worry I'll post about Thanksgiving in the next day or two, I had already had this post started and figured I would post it first. But I do hope everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving, we are sure stuffed and enjoying having U. Will and A. Casey home.
