So yesterday I found Hollynn and a pair of scissors, and my Dad's dog. I was just glad that she decided that it was best to cut the dogs hair and not her own or her little brothers!!
Hudson helps me feed horses and pass out hay at the barn and any other little job I can find him. He often moves at a snails pace. So. Slow. But today while I was getting hay down I told him we had to hustle with work because I was making french toast casserole tonight and he loves french toast casserole. I wish you could've heard him as he excitedly said, "Well Mom, then let's get to work!" He hustled the whole time we were out. I'm going to make french toast casserole more often! He worked so hard he ate 2 big helpings of casserole, 3 eggs, and 3 pieces of bacon!
Their latest thing is putting bathing suits on and going "swimming". I let them do it but it just about drives me nuts b/c they seem to change clothes and bathing suits constantly. Hollynn just came downstairs with her bathing suit on, yet again today. I called for Heath to come downstairs and he came down stark naked. I guess he decided he would be skinny dipping!
And even better...I went to a horse show the other night and the kids stayed home with Jason. When I got home he was on the couch and the kids came parading downstairs, Hollynn in her bathing suit, Hudson in swimming trunks, and Heath in a pair of short shorts (that were backwards by the way) and a pink tank top with a strawberry on it. I looked at Jason who just shrugged his shoulders and laughed. Then I looked at Hollynn and said, "What have I told you about dressing your little brother?" She sighed and said, "Not to do it."
Oh me, it is NEVER boring around here!
