Virtual Tour

Some of you may just want to skip this post, I'm doing it so my family and friends who aren't close enough to come see the house can see it and this was much easier than putting all these pics in an e-mail.
So, this is my fav., I can't wait to get in the whirlpool tub. Hudson said he was going to swim in it!

This is in his bedroom, the two doors are huge walk in closets. This was his favorite part of the house, he wanted me to take his picture while he was sitting there.

Hollynn's room, he ran circles in every room!

This bedroom will be Jason's office.

I didn't take pics of the half bath and laundry room.
The inspection was today and went well. The roof needs a little work around the chimney, good thing that's Hoss' specialty :) The appraiser comes tomorrow and then I think we will just be waiting on all the paperwork, who knows, I'm just rollin' with it we've never done this before!

Snow...

We got a little snow and acutally got outside and played in for just a little. He LOVES the snow!

Can you hear him grunting because he thinks she's heavy!? At almost 3 months old she weighs half as much as he does. She had a check up the other day and weighs in at 15 lbs. 14 oz. and she's also very long. They said she's over 2 in. longer than the average child her age.

I was watching him tell her all about Lightening McQueen, and she seems to be soaking it all in :)

How much of that 15 lbs. do you think is in her cheeks?
We have exciting news, we have signed a contract on a house. We hope to close in two weeks. We both love it and it's almost triple the size of the love shack, so we should have more than enough room :) It was a foreclosure and we feel really good about the price. We looked at several foreclosures and they were not taken care of at all, suprisingly this one is move in ready, no skankiness like the others. Some fresh paint is all it needs. It's 4 bedrooms plus a big bonus room, 2 1/2 baths, 2 car garage, kitchen that makes me happy (the kitchen is what makes it or breaks it for me), there's not much about it that I don't just love. I'll have to take some pics and post them. It's in Sango, Clarksville, so that's the only stinky thing. It's 12 miles from the only place I've ever called home. I know, 12 miles isn't far, unless you hang out with your Meemaw everyday and she lives 100 yards away, and you see your Dad everyday, and your business is only several hundred yards away, then 12 miles seems like an eternity. That's the only thing that bothers Jason, too, but I'm sure we'll get used to it. After we drive it for a while it won't seem like that far and I'll still come out here everyday for my horses and Jason will still keep all his business stuff here. We still hope to move back here one day, we both want our kids to be raised on a farm like we were. When we do move back here we want to build, and I want to build what I want, how I want it and that to be the house we stay in forever, but it's not time for that right now. But we are very excited about this house and I think the timing is great since I don't start back to work until March 1 so that gives us time to get everything how we want it :) Jason is taking a 5 week night class so that gives him time, too. Can't wait for you all to see it!

Final post of Christmas

Sorry for taking forever with these Christmas pics.
He wanted to get her something for Chirstmas and my favorite movie growing up was Beauty and the Beast and this year they came out with the better color, etc. for a limited time and I thought that would be good to get her. So above he is showing it to her, I love how she's locked on him and not the dvd. He was so excited showing it to her. I had told him he was going to have to pay for it with his own money to which he responded "Sure, Mom" and then went and got me 3 pennies! It was so cute. I gladly accepted the three pennies and we wrapped her gift up. I just love him!

Her new bedding and some stuff for when she gets her own room.

Her new toys!

This is the only pic of him Christmas morning that was not blurry :( There's no way we could have gotten him with all his stuff, he got so much (and not from us-his grandparents and great grandparents are mostly to blame!). Our house looked like a tornado hit it!

Meme found this doll, don't they look alike?

Shadow box Aunt Casey made. I love the one she made Hudson, and this one is just as sweet!

These are the final pics from Christmas Eve. We had my parents, Will and Casey, and Meemaw over that night. We somehow all fit into the love shack! Hudson was the highlight of the night watching him get so excited. I need to go take a pic of their presents from Hoss. I meant to last year but never got around to it, he gave Hudson a calf. This year Hudson got #54's calf and Hollynn #56. What's funny is I hate these two mama cows. I know, hate is a strong word, but those two are always messin' up my fences. But I love their calves :)
This was our last Christmas in the love shack. Sad, I have so many memories as a child being here ALL THE TIME with Meemaw and now I've spent 8 years living here and starting our family in these old walls. But soon we'll be saying goodbye and moving on to a bigger house. Since Hollynn's joined us, these 1000 sq. ft. are a little too snug. I'll keep you updated!

More Christmas

My little cheezer!
There are more pics coming from Christmas Eve at our house but here are a few of them...

3 of my favorite people in the whole world

And my favorite of all favorites right here!

Yes, we keep our carpets weedeated! This is Carney Lawn Care employee of the month :)
All the pics from here down are from Christmas Day at Granny Head's...

The lucky husbands of the three Head grandaughters!

Shouldn't he look more thrilled to have us 2 as daughters!?

The three grandaughters.

Are these two the two prettiest girls you've ever seen? Of course they are!! I am getting so old, I used to tote Ashlee around when she was little and now she does the same with mine. She's such a good girl and makes me so proud!

Can we say fake smile!

She was so worn out after 2 busy days that when we got to Granny Head's on Christmas afternoon she did this almost the whole time!
We played dirty Santa at Granny's which has become our tradition since Grandaddy passed away. There wasn't as much stealing going on this year as usual, but it was still lots of fun. Jason ended up with a tie which is perfect for him and I got a thing that hangs on the wall that holds decorative plates that's really cute.
I have more pics from Christmas Eve but am going to make another post out of them.
On a different note...we are starting a new trend...Hollynn has gone to sleep before 1:00 every night for the past 2 weeks except one! Some of those nights were around 11:45 :) Now I just have to get myself used to going to bed earlier. I had to put "Friends" in my netflix que because I got so used to watching it at 1:00 every night that now I don't know what is going on with Ross and Rachel, I had never watched the show until Hollynn came along.
