Big Changes

Our best friends who live in AR now stopped by and stayed for a night last week. Isaac is 5 months older than Hudson and Hollynn is only 4 weeks older than Grace, how awesome is that!

Mandy's cell phone is way cooler than mine and took all of these pics.

To say these two had a blast together is an understatement. They stayed up til almost 2 a.m. playing since Mandy and Ryan didn't get here until after 11 that night. Jason and I were laughing at them as we listened to them on the monitor that night. We put their beds next to each other in the floor and they just giggled and then it just stopped and they were out!

I have only a few minutes to share some big changes coming our way. I'll try to be more detailed in a later post. Jason has accepted a job as a youth pastor at Friendship FWB, which is about the same distance we travel now to go to Bethel. There are so many emotions wrapped up in this. It's exciting and scary all in the same breath. We are very sad to leave the place we've called home for 8 1/2 years, we knew it would happen one day, but that doesn't make it any easier. But the people at Friendship have been very encouraging and seem to be excited. So with a little tear in my eye, I'm looking forward to this adventure, Jason is too! Hudson already has made a few friends there and I think the transition on him will be easier than I had originally thought. Jason starts August 1st. He will continue to have Carney Lawn Care as well. Please pray for us as we take this big step!

What We've Been Up To...

He loved this hat from VBS and obviously loved the sucker he had that night, too!

If I had a dollar for every time he laughs this hard, I'd be a millionaire!

Jason gets home tonight from his second mission trip this summer, we are ready for him to be home! We are surprising him with an ipad 2 and we cleaned, unpacked, and organized his office for him, I can't wait to see his reaction! His office was pretty much a bunch of boxes and papers and I figured he wouldn't get to it until winter, so me and the kids spent 3 nights in there working then Will and Casey came over and put together book shelves and hung things on the wall. I'll have to take pics.

We've been staying busy and doing fun stuff this summer, last year I wasn't exactly Mrs. Fun so I've enjoyed getting to do fun stuff with the little man and lady. We've seen three movies so far, Cars 2 by far his favorite. We went to Holiday World a few weeks ago and it was awesome, I can't wait to go back next year. I've never seen Hudson so tired as he was on the way home, but he had a BLAST! There are 2 more blastball games left, and our boy is definitely the team clown!

Hollynn update...I'm not sure if she's going to skip crawling or not. She does this weird army crawl but she rolls up on her left hip and pushes herself forward, it's quite funny. But she does it just so she can get close enough to something to pull herself up. She is much more concerned with standing and walking (holding your hand) than she is crawling. She is starting to balance some without holding your hands. She LOVES any animal, I mean jump up and down squeal when she gets close enough to pet them. I'm hoping we will have our fence up by the end of this month so the dogs can come home, they kids will both love that as will I, Jason well...not so much.

And I've been busy training and teaching. I'm up to teaching almost 30 people a week (so much for not adding new people, huh :) and I have a nice group of training horses in. Three of them I will eventually show, so that's always exciting. I am so blessed with a job that my children can come to and they both love being outside!

That's all for now, a sweet little boy just crawled up in my lat, and Jason's almost home :D
