Professional Pics of my Cute Kids :)

I know she's mine, but isn't she adorable?

Again, I know he's mine, but he's too cute!

I love this one.
Melissa Lewis took pics of the kids last weekend and I just love them. They were going to be Christmas presents but my mom saw them alredy so I figured I'd share them with everyone. Check Melissa's website out www.lifeasalewisphotography.com

New Beds

Hollynn would not sleep in her bassinet and I didn't like it anyways, it wasn't very level. So we moved Hudson's crib into our room and he has a temporary bed in his room. We've ordered him a storage bed that should be here next week, I'm so excited because we need all the storage room we can get! It also has a bookshelf as the headboard.

Getting ready to go huntin' with Hoss. They've gone squirrel huntin' the past two Sunday afternoons and although haven't seen or killed anything, they seem to have a big time. Hudson spends his time picking up sticks and banging them on things, Dad just enjoys spending his time with Hudson.

Sweet Granny and Meemaw! Hollynn was great grandchild #15 for Granny and born 2 days after her birthday. She makes great grandchild #2 for Meemaw.

Loretta came to visit this past weekend and thinks she's going to teach Hollynn how to cheer one day, we'll have to see what Dad says about that one ;) She's gotta be a ball player with those long fingers!
I haven't talked much about the thing I was most scared of, the c section. It was so much better than I thought. I was much more relaxed than I thought I would be. Spent the whole morning praying and being excited. They ran right on time and the only time I wasn't with Jason was when they took me to the OR to get my spinal and get the room ready. It was freezing in there and I was getting nervous, so I sat there and shook while they did it. Then I went numb and they brought Jason in. They sat him right next to my head and made sure he had ate something for breakfast. They didn't want him to pass out like the guy in the OR room next to us! I told the nurse and my Dr. that I didn't want to know anything they were doing and the nurse said she was glad I said that because sometimes they say when they are making an incision, etc. So my Dr. and Jason talked about hunting (her husband hunts a lot) and I was distracted by that and we even cut up some, so it was pretty relaxed. The only thing they told me was that I would feel some pressure on my stomach, and I knew they were pushing her out, then they lifted her over the sheet and let me see her face for a split second. Jason went over to see her and take pics and I laid there and listened to her cry. The anestesiologist was at my head and saw the tears streaming down my cheeks so she stood there and wiped my face until they brought her over to me. All this in about 15 minutes. And 2 1/2 weeks later the recovery is going great. I didn't look at my incision until last week, Jason has been making sure it's okay. So the only thing that's really grossed me out is this innertube I'm carrying around! I already have my first few workouts planned and I'm counting down the days. So for now, I think c sections are great, I couldn't imagine laboring for hours and hours! And look at that sweet little thing that we got out of the deal! We were talking last night and couldn't imagine not having her!

Our Weekend

He loves being able to hold her all by himself.

Have you ever seen a cuter bear!? Those big brown eyes were just perfect for his costume!

I had a few other shirts for her that were too cute that said Baby's first Halloween but they were all too big for her. Her 0-3 month clothes are still big but she seems to really be growing so I know that won't be the case for too much longer. But these are some newborn p.j.'s mom had bought her and Hudson had the matching ones you saw above.

Saturday night was Bethelfest at church. He had a blast, this seemed to be his favorite thing. I went for about 15 minutes and brought Hudson home while Jason stayed and helped clean up. I was wore out after Sat. (we had several things going on), but I didn't want to miss his "church party" as he called it all day.

Lots of Pics!

He is the best thing with her!

On Monday she met the horses for the first time. Well, she slept while Jason attempted to get some good pics of horses that really don't care about much. Only one of the horses sniffed her, the others were like, "Yah, we get to just stand here!"

This child cracks me up! He makes me belly laugh all the time, which is not fun when you just had a c section. But the other night after he and Hoss got finished riding the 4 wheeler, he wanted to go hang out with Hoss so off he went. Dad made them eggs (that's about the only thing he can cook), and while they were eating Hudson said he needed to go pee. Well, 99% of the time that's just an excuse to get down. This was the 1%. Before Dad could get him to where he could use the bathroom, it was too late. So this is what my Dad came up with! Silk Santa Claus boxers (who knows how deep he had to dig in his drawer to find these things!). He pinned the waist mulitiple times and actually had them fitting H's tiny waist! When he come in I just started laughing, he looked like he had on MC Hammer pants!

My 3 favorite people!
If only she would sleep this good at night! She sleeps all day and then around 1:00 a.m. she wakes up and finally goes back to sleep sometime between 4-5:00. If she drifts off in between 1-5, as soon as I lay her down she's back up and wanting to be held. But during the day she's out like a light!

Things are going well at the Carney house, other than lack of sleep, which we expected! Tonight we will be watching Ratatoulli when the boys get home from church because Hudson has all his smiley faces on his chart! Can't wait for them to get home and cuddle with my little man. My sweet girl is sleeping right next to me. I can't let her out of my sight, and most of the time I don't let her out of my arms! What a blessing these two are! I'm looking forward to the weekend, gonna get out a little for the Fall Festival at church on Saturday and then church and trick or treating on Sunday. I've missed church so much and I'm ready to get back in the routine. I'm desperate to get to moving more. I can't wait to start working out again and riding horses! I'd go do it right now if I didn't think Jason would kill me. But I'm sure it's a good thing that I'm sitting on the couch now. Yesterday I cleaned the kitchen, did some laundry, etc. and wasn't feeling to good by the time I got in bed. Seems when I do too much, fluid builds up around my incision. So for now I'm gonna just dream of loping circles in my arena, trail rides, and burning the tread off my running shoes!
